Dr. Katherine Sage is a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Grand Rapids, MI. Dr. Sage earned her Bachelors Degree from Boston University and her Medical Degree from Lincoln Memorial – DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Metro Health – University of Michigan Hospital in Wyoming, MI, and Fellowship in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at Medstar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Since graduating from fellowship and joining Kuros, Dr. Sage has continued to practice clinical Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Sage is passionate about orthopaedic implants and the science of bone grafts. She serves on several medical boards and committees both nationally and locally, and is an active member of the AAOS, AOAO, and AOFAS. She is a strong advocate for women in Orthopaedic Surgery, as only 6% of Orthopaedic Surgeons are women.
