Move the needle in fusion with our foundational, proven solution
MagnetOs Granules

MagnetOs™ Granules is the original form of our advanced bone graft based on the submicron needle-shaped NeedleGrip™ surface technology. It remains the foundation of all MagnetOs formulations and is the driver of our mechanism of action for bone generation in the extremities.
Evidence isn’t optional for Kuros. We are committed to generating high-quality evidence, enabling our team to discover, develop and deliver innovative biologic technologies with one goal in mind: To give surgeons the confidence to make evidence-based decisions for their patients.
These novel innovations have revealed a powered mechanism of action for bone growth, offering tremendous promise for predictable fusions and traumatic reconstructions of the extremity.
Predictable handling
Packaged in granule form without any carrier, MagnetOs Granules lends itself to growing bone in amorphous and contained or semi-contained voids.1-3
Proven foundation
MagnetOs Granules are the basis for all MagnetOs formulations and have been 510(k)-cleared since 2017. This foundational technology is supported by an unprecedented blend of scientific, preclinical, and clinical studies through our global research program, Project Fusion.1,3
Powered by harnessing the immune system
Macrophages polarize to the M2 phenotype, which are pro-healing and upregulate stem cells to create bone.1,2 MagnetOs NeedleGrip surface technology enhances the pathway to M2 macrophages.*†2,3 Furthermore, MagnetOs has demonstrated the ability to form bone in a canine intramuscular pouch model without the addition of cells or growth factors.*†‡4 These understandings and evidence combine to define MagnetOs as a powered solution for predictable fusions and traumatic reconstructions of the extremity.
Equivalent to autograft
In fact, MagnetOs Granules as a standalone bone graft reached higher fusion rates than the gold standard of autograft. This is based on results of an observer blinded, randomized, controlled, intrapatient, multi-center clinical trial of instrumented posterolateral fusions of the spine, as assessed by fine-cut CT scans at one year follow-up.5
The MagnetOs Granules technology is also proven to be equivalent to autograft for spinal fusions in multiple pre-clinical models.*§6,7
