MagnetOs Easypack Putty comes ready-to-use in an open-ended syringe for instant application into the palm of your hand. No further preparation is needed – thus saving you (and your team) precious minutes in the operating room.
Easy to mold
Because of its unique thermo-sensitive polymer binder, MagnetOs Easypack Putty is easy to mold.1 This allows you to follow the contours of bony defects and fill those that are irregular in shape or size.
Designed to stay put
You don’t need to compromise on efficacy for the sake of perioperative performance. MagnetOs Easypack Putty has been formulated to resist irrigation during surgery and minimize post-operative graft migration.1 This is a putty that stays put and can be used standalone or as an extender to autograft in the posterolateral spine and intervertebral disc space.§7

Dr. Kathryn McCarthy, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Norton Leatherman Spine Center in Louisville, Kentucky, has over 12 years of experience focusing on adult degenerative pathology and deformity cases throughout the spine.
In the interactive Clinical Storyboard below, you’ll follow one of Dr. McCarthy’s patients undergoing spinal fusion using MagnetOs Easypack Putty. The bone graft was applied during TLIF and PLF procedures and evaluated for fusion progressions at 6 weeks, 12 weeks, and 6 months post-op.

- Past medical history: previous C5-6 fusion
Preoperative Exam
Clinical Observations:

- Right leg paresthesias and pain
Physical Exam:
- Right foot dorsiflexion weakness
- Decreased sensory dermatomal patterns at L5 and S1

Sagittal plane reveals significant disc space collapse at L5-S1 with discogenic change
Right-sided paracentral disc protrusion with foraminal stenosis is evident
Proceeded with posterior spinal fusion with wide right sided and foraminal decompression with interbody graft replacement from the right side
Posterior aspect of the disc space was packed with MagnetOs Easypack Putty and local autograft following cage placement
Procedure
- L5-S1 transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion with posterolateral fusion
- Used 10cc MagnetOs Easypack Putty and autograft along spinal fixation system and within 3D-printed titanium cage§
